Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026
Our commitment
OmnIoT is committed to digital accessibility. We believe the web should work for everyone, regardless of ability, and we continuously improve the omniot.io experience to meet recognized accessibility standards.
Conformance
This website strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and neurological differences. As an Israeli company, we also work toward alignment with Israeli Standard 5568 (ת"י 5568), which is based on WCAG.
Accessibility features
The site includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements are reachable and operable from a keyboard alone.
- Semantic structure. Heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes are applied to support screen readers.
- Alternative text. Images and meaningful icons include descriptive alternative text.
- Focus indicators. Visible focus rings on interactive elements.
- Color contrast. Body text and interactive elements meet the minimum contrast ratios required by WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Responsive layout. The site adapts to small screens, large screens, and different zoom levels.
- Accessibility toolbar. A UserWay accessibility widget is available on every page (see below).
- Form labels. Every form field has a descriptive label. Error messages are announced to assistive technology.
Accessibility toolbar
The site includes the UserWay accessibility widget, which provides on-demand tools to customize your browsing experience without installing browser extensions:
- Text size adjustment
- Color contrast modes (including high-contrast and dark modes)
- Readable font and dyslexia-friendly font options
- Link highlighting
- Reading mask and reading guide
- Keyboard navigation helper
- Image alt-text exposure
Look for the accessibility icon in the bottom-right corner of any page to open the toolbar.
Technologies
The site is built on modern, accessibility-friendly technologies:
- HTML5 with semantic elements
- ARIA where native HTML semantics are insufficient
- CSS for presentation, respecting user preferences where relevant
- Progressive enhancement so content is reachable even with JavaScript disabled
The site is tested with:
- Modern desktop browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Major mobile browsers on iOS and Android
- Screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack)
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist. We are working to address them:
- Third-party embedded content (for example, fonts loaded from Google Fonts) may not be fully controlled by us.
- Some older content or external documents may not meet current accessibility standards.
